Boston Benefit Group, an Alera Group Agency LLC. is seeking a Benefits Analyst to join their Employee Benefits team.



Boston Benefit Partners, LLC (BBP) is a dynamic, entrepreneurial, fast-paced employee benefit consulting/brokerage firm located in downtown Boston. We provide health and welfare consulting services to both public and private sector employers, and are noted for our data-driven consulting approach and client service model.

  • Research, analyze, and evaluate medical, dental, life and disability plans
  • Provide diligent, accurate, daily client support addressing benefit related issues
  • Preparing detailed RFP requests and assimilate RFP responses
  • Produce both RFP summaries and detailed experience reports
  • Work as an integral part of a consulting team


The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Generate detail oriented work that is accurate (check one’s own work)
  • Ability to work independently, but also as a team
  • Ability to grow professionally, including completing courses and attending seminars
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills
  • Ability to learn from peers, including accepting constructive feedback
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely
  • Ability to analyze data


Required skills and experience:

  • BA/BS
  • One to three years of experience, including internships
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
